Old 3 pulley craftsman bandsaw

I have a old 3 pulley craftsman bandsaw, am looking for a heavy duty blade, or perhaps just a shorter one.Mine is 62.5 " long, too long for the ajustment to tighten up.Plus the blade seems kinda thin, do they make different thickness blades?
