I have a floor made of 16 by 16 squares with each square composed of 8 wood strips, each strip 2" by 15.5". It looks like it might be laminate (wood on a base) but it sands and can be stained.
I'm trying to find more flooring like this so I can do the kitchen in the same pattern. Unfortuntately, the existing floor is about 25-35 years old.
