I have the same problem, it is only with certain ones within a series. Specific serial numbers will cause the tech to order the "Neptune Repair Kit" which is what you got. It's a new motor, controller and wiring harness. The new controller will not work with the original motor, this sounds like an unoffical recall. It may time for a class action law suit.
