We have a "blower fan" in the kitchen that was installed by the prior owners of the house we just puschased,I want to replace it with an exhaust type fan.As I removed the existing fan I noticed that there is no ducting connected to the hole where the fan is,in other words if I replace the fan with an exhaust the smoke will be pulled into the attic, is there any danger in doing this ?
