I am concerned that our hardwood flooring insatller is planning to install on top of thin, partially torn,and uneven vinyl that exsisted on our floors years ago. We have pulled up the carpet and most of what was underneath is wood, vinyl, and redwood planks. All of it is a very uneven surface, how can the new wood planks be installed onto this surface? (Tarkett is a product this installer uses.
