Maybe I have an older model or a less expensive fan because I have no idea what you guys are talking about in reference to a dip switch. The model number on the back of my remote is FAN-HD.
I recently moved and took the fan with me, when I re-installed in my new house the fan would work but the lights would not. In addition, I could not control the fan with the remote. I changed the batteries on the remote, but it still did not work!
