Fill Valve Replacement (Toilet)

Posted by sarsen on January 23rd, 2004 07:42 AM

Hi all,
I am trying to replace the old ballcok/flush valve with a ball-less fill valve assembly in my toilet. I need to remove my old fill valve to replace it with the new one. How do I remove my fill valve (the valve which has the refill tube coming out of it which fills the overflow vave).

What kind of tools (socket wrench , long arm pliers etc) do I need to use for this. Also given the fact that it is attached at the bottom of the tank there is less room to maneuver. Appreciate your input.
