I have a major problem with a couple of floors in my house. I bought the house 1 1/2 years ago,It was first built in the 20's then added on a couple of times. The part that was built in the 20's has a crawl space with only about a foot to 2 foot space between the ground and floor. It is impossible for just about anyone to get in there unless it is a extremely thin person, but then there is no room to move around in. The floors above the crawl space is a beautiful hard wood that I wouldn't mind trying to keep if possible. Is there any way to insulate the floors without covering them up, or without having to dig out the crawl space, or anything to expensive?
