As far as plans, you really left a lot to the imagination. Look around Bobs How-To section, or do a web search. Spell it "ventilation", you'll get some hits. Maybe post a specific question, like "how do I retrofit my 1850s farmhouse", or " how do I ventilate a rip roof on my new addition...'.
