Angie..........topcoating Suede will ruin the look.

RR and Suede are flat finishes - you wouldn't usually use a flat wall paint in a bathroom - you can't wash it.

If you are doing this in a powder room (without a shower or tub) - it should be fine. A regular bathroom however will likely cause you a problem.

As for mentioning "after he mixed it" - he should have called 1-800-379-polo BEFORE he mixed it - would have saved you all some trouble.

Personally, I would return it - if you wanted the color in a satin wall paint - call 1-800-379-polo - tell them the Suede color - they can give you a RL paint color that is very close.
