That the pipe is backing up somehow. For now just cut the plastic discharge that's connected to the furnace and figure out another way to drain condensate water later on. Your using the furnace now and we have established it's not a condensing furnace. Of course your 1st order of business should be to fix the leak. Good Luck, Tom
