I have seen a house with a basement construted of cement hollow block.
This is an 8'ft high, cement floor,6o'X 30'.I see that there has never been any water in it. They say that its been always dry. Cement floor was made with a hole for pump, and never has had water. But I see there is a white, powdery line waving between one to two ft. from bottom. Looks like a white cement power that was sprayed on completly around the walls. Can you tell me how to check this out. I would like to get this house and finish the basetment to live in.
