I just had electric baseboard heat installed in my apartment. I have noticed that every time the heat goes on or off, there is an very loud popping noise that I am not sure how to describe, but it is loud enough to disturb my sleep. Is this normal for this type of heater? Is there any way to avoid this loud noise? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
