Lake home garage

We are probably going to build a garage and live in it during the summer at the lake. We've bought quite a bit of lake property and don't want to go too far in debt with a cabin right away. Any advice from anyone that's done this would be appreciated. We'll probably have water a electricity but basically just a concrete slab and an outhouse at least for this summer
