thermocoupler replacement

Posted by Carolyn Melton on January 29th, 2004 06:31 AM

I am a single woman caring for my elderly mother. My furnace stays lit during the day, but goes out at night. What's up with that? I believe from all I have read that my thermocoupler needs replaced. Is that easy to do? I need to do it myself if at all possible. Repairmen are too expensive for me at the moment and Mom needs heat, you know? Please help!!!
