2 Car Garage spanning 25'

I'm adding onto my current house, looking at spanning 25' across a 2 car garage to eliminate any poles. The garage will be 25' x 36' & have a great room over the garage, then a 600' attic storage space over the great room. I have looked at various solutions, I beams, mfg beams, Tru joists. Any info anybody has greatly appreciated.
If I go with beams (every 12'?) I would then build a 2 x12 floor on top of the beams.
I contacted mfg of one beam for more info (as it said to) and their "president" pointed me to a web page. Great. Thanx
