Defective coupler on portable dishwasher

I have a Sears Kenmore model 665 portable dishwasher that is about 2 1/2 years old, purchased around November of 2001. In the time we have had it we have had Sears out to replace the fill/drain hose unit due to the connection between the inlet hose and the plastic molded connector that couples to the faucet starts leaking. They have replaced the hose 3 or 4 times and the same thing happens within a couple of weeks. According to Sears, they have no service bulletins from the manufacturer on this problem, but I just cannot believe that we are the only ones to experience this issue with this model of portable dishwasher. From the number of posts it looks like there are a number of people who own this model of portable dishwasher. Has anyone else experienced similiar problems with this model of dishwasher?
