I have recently moved into a new house, I decided that I didn't like the carpet in the house, so I ripped it up - nice wood underneath. When I got to the wood, there is this black stuff in places possibly pet spots, or the pad had deteriorated and left stuff on the floor. Any ideas on how to get it off, without ruining the nice wood? also how do you get all of the adhesive off that they used to hold down the padding?? Thanks!
