Having purchased my combi boiler just over 15 months ago, I started to have problems with it. The water and heating keeps going off because the pilot light keeps going out on a regular basis. I have discovered the only way to rectify it is to keep tapping the metal front just below the flame window. Ravenheat at Morley state that it could be the air pressure switch, denying the fact that it may be a design/engineering fault with the switch and stated that it could be sticking with grit or other residue. They would not personally send anyone out as it had overrun its 12 months guarantee and could only reccommend a Ravenheat plumber in the West Yorkshire area from Huddersfield over 15 miles away from where I live. Hence I am continuing to persist! If anyone else has encountered similar problems or can offer any assistance. I would look forward to hearing from you.
