Coleman Presidential Furnace

Posted by Thomas Tucker on February 4th, 2004 07:46 AM

I have a Coleman Presidential Furnace. The fan motor appears to be drawing too much current, which is dropping the available voltage potential to the circuit board to less than 9.5 volts (as required for operation) It is actually about 8vdc. I believe this is causing premature failure of the circuit board and I am avoiding the possibility of frying the new one I have just installed. My question is "Does anyone know what the resistance of the blower fan is or what the voltage potential should be to the circuit board?

Please respond....its cold!
