Rubber Vibration Isolators.....

Stuart, Excellent advice, glad you took the time to share your experience with everyone.
However, one thing about the rubber isolators, they are designed to work in compression only. If they are installed so the rubber part is in shear or tension, there is the possibility they could fail and the opener could drop. They need to be installed so the rubber is in compression.
