Change your thinking about what a furnace is. It is a complicated machine with solid state electronics that requires, according to the factory, a 'qualified service company' to check it out, in part to prevent explosion and fire. If you clean the flame sensor to get it to work; you still do not have the tools and knowledge to do the other checks that must be done in an annual service procedure to help assure another failure is not in another few hours. Call for service.
