A contractor recently damaged two sections of my driveway closest to the garage. He has offered to replace the sections, but I am concerned about minimum specs being met. The old driveway has no reinforcement and is not doweled to the garage or lower sections. What should I isist upon regarding dowling, expansion joints, thickness, rebar, and base prep?
