My husband and I live in an 85 yr old house. The gravity furnace is probably as old as the house. There's asbestos "powder" and pieces all over the top of the thing. It does a great job of heating the house, but I'm concened about all those asbestos flakes in the air.
Should it be replaced? Any idea of what the removal would cost? Can I just tape it up? Cover it with tin foil?
Help!
