Nasty Bump at the seam

Well, I finally laid down the Wonderboard in the bathroom in prep for the tiles. Heavy job. I left hubby to screw the panels down. Fifty dollars says there was a little rock or something under one of the panels. When I went to cover the seams with Versabond,I could detect a little rise. One of the panels is slightly uneven with the next one. Stupidly tried to level it out with the stuff. Didn't really work. Now what? Self leveler? More mortar? Remove the panel (ugh)? Suicide? Help, somebody!
