Luke Warm Water in the Shower

Hi all,
I have very hot water in the kitchen, bathroom and basement sinks, however, when I turn on the faucets in the shower/tub, I get luke warm water. It used to be hot, just the last couple of months this has been happening and the faucet was replced just last year once the shower nozzle broke when it was pulled up and didn't stay up.
