We are having problems with the above furnace. More frequent than not, the furnace will not blow ware air. The electronic hot surface ignition lights the gas, but the gas stays lit for only a few seconds. This cycle is then repeated 3 or so times before the low speed finally kicks in. Unfortunately, the fan only blows room temp air as the gas is not burning.
The programable Honeywell thermostat is about 3 years old and batteries are new. Is it possible the micro-computer is bad in the furnace? Thoughts?
