I'm going to try the miracle floor kit. It doesn't pretend to be magic. It's two cleaning steps, followed by a bond coat then a top coat. I think that's what i want - clean off all the years of crude and start over. I don't want a new, sanded look. A little distress is good; it's an old house. I'll let you know how it comes out. Jeff
