I'm taken mine out and putting in a gas slide in. Yes, counter width modification too.
It's electric, cream colored, work's great, looks great, requires a 28 1/2" cut-out.
I want to go with gas due to down time in the event of a bad freeze.
I assumming it's original equipment in the 1994 home I bought.
I also have a matching Whilpool dishwasher in the same condition. It will be changed out as well to match the stainless finish on stove, icebox, and over the range microwave.
