you should consider painting them or try covering them with laminate....we decide to replace all of our custom metal cabinets with new wood cabinets. they looked too dated...1970's style I guess.....dont know if you can have new wooden doors installed on them...maybe your check into this at least!!! good luck ..hope this helps...let us know what you decided to do with them..
