I am getting some quotes on having my concrete driveway repoured. Various contractors have talked about applying something called 'clear cure' right after it's poured. Others talk about applying a sealer within 30 days of pouring. All of these are at an extra cost.
It sounds like I could obtain and brush on sealer within 30 days and save some money. My main concern is whether the clear cure is really needed, could I apply it myself and why do some contractors not use it automatically? I have not been able to get a clear, concrete (excuse the pun), explanation of why I should spend hundreds of dollars on clear cure. Thanks.
