refrigerator odor

This is a good point that Joe has suggested, however as working for ***** for 15 yrs as tech, when we recieved a unit with compressor failure,electrical outages or other where meat,poultry,fish or game was thawn and ruined, it is a salvage product, as the smell imbeds into the liners of the refrigant interior and can never be cleared. You may want to check your homeowner insurance,or if you have service contracts on the unit, they may cover your loss, as well as the appliance. You can also try vanilla flavoring, or 2 or 3 potatoes cut in half and leave for few days.
