This is a real dilema ... If you go through with this, you run the risk of losing property value. I'm sure the home is worth more with a garage than w/o one. Think hard about this. Ask a realtor about the idea. It may be best to add an addition. If you can't, then your home's value may drop and you may have a tougher time selling.
