I recently replaced the fan pullcord in a light/fan. I had it all loose, but wired up, and everything worked fine. I turned off the fuse and put all the housings together. I turned the fuse back on. I didn't realize the switch to the light was on. My wife says there was a short crackling/pop noise. Now neither the lights nor fan work at all.
Could anyone tell me what I've done, and/or how to fix it?
