Hi, Bertha. Stain cannot be stripped. It can be bleached out. Paint strippers will release paint or clear surface finishes like varnish or lacquer. Stains get much further down into the wood just like food coloring on your hands.
Bleaching will work and if you search this board and at www.citristrip.com you will find how and what to use for this. But with floors, you normally sand to refinish. This will take off the surface of the wood and the stain with it. It also removes light surface scratching and changes in the wood from humidity.
