Our toilet splashes a LOT of water up onto the seat during flushing. There just seems to be too much water trying to flush way too fast and hard in the bowl. Closing the lid is the only way not to get sprayed. We've tried turning down the water flow at the on/off valve, but that doesn't seem to change anything. It seems to be a relatively new commode. What an unsanitary and very annoying problem! Does anyone have any suggestions?
