Formica Repair - Maybe an Answer

I found this forum looking for an answer on how to repair formica for my father-in-law. I didn't see any answers (maybe I just don't know how to use this site) so I continued on my web search and came across a product you all might be interested in. Mind you, I've never tried it and have no idea how or if it works, but there is a company that sells formica (and other laminates) repair kits in a tube for about $17. FYI - it looks like you need the name of the color in order to match it to your counters.
