shower disfunction

My fiancee and I just moved into a house this weekend, and the shower stopped working this morning...as I was taking a shower. The water still works from everywhere in the house, including the tub's faucet, but just not the shower head. I even removed the head to see if it was just clogged. Nothing. Is there somewhere/something I can check, before having to call a repairman?
