Mixet Faucet Problem

When filling a newly-installed water heater, it became obvious that I have a "crossover" in the Mixet tub faucet; i.e., the hot and cold water supplies are leaking through inside the Mixet valve. I have replaced the cartridge twice over the years because the faucet has never worked quite right in that the hot/cold water ratio varies with flowrate as well as seeming to drift from position to position at various times.
If anybody has a clue about how to "fixit the Mixet," I would be very grateful.
