hi everone, my attic is hot during the summer. i was triying to stop it before it came, i have 2 types of vents i have overhang vents and the ones that come in the joists that let air in, is this enough, also i noticed that the overhang vents are blocked by insulation is this good? how can i fix it? also i was thinking about adding one gable vent would this help? i would add 2 gable vents but i cant because i ahve cathederal ceilings on the other side of the house and the vent would not be on center in taht side. would that vent help?? anything else taht would help? the gable vent that i am installing will be 12w by 21 h. will that be good? its pretty big. also i was wondering the vents taht go into the joists it has like a gap on the roof sheathing. is that normal? thanks alot!
