hi i have a fireplace that is built into my house, it doesent have a chase outside, taht is all inside, i noticed not too long ago that in my attic there is a penetration were the metal tube for the zero clearance fireplace goes up the roof, it has its own frame but the wall (interior) that is is the kitchen has no insulation and the hole has no insulation, but is this dangerous puting insulation to cover up the hole?, that wall in my kitchen is alays cold.
