You need to remove the insulation that is covering your " overhang vents". Your attic needs to breath. Do you have ridge vents? If you do, then once you remove the insulation covering your overhang vents this may give you the air circulation that you need. You can get access to your overhang vents through your attic. Or, if you live in a one story house get a ladder and access the vent from the outside. Remove the vent cover, remove the insulation from the opening then reattach the cover
