The ignitor should only be about $20 plus up to $40 to install(depending on service charge, time to change is less than 20 minutes.
The control box should be about $120 plus $40 plus to install.
My problem is one of erratic turning on. The exhaust fan sometimes comes on and runs and runs but no heat. Other time the main fan will come on first and most times produce heat. Most times the exhaust fan comes on, then after about five minutes, the furance will start to heat and the main fan will begin to run. Shortly afterwards the flame will go out.
I have replaced the ignitor, vacumn hose, exhaust hose, and the control box. The problem still exist. I will often work if I turn the main control often and wait a while. Sometimes I have to do this two or three times before it heats. It seems to go out more as it gets colder.
