I have a very dull & dirty looking grey fireplace. I think I would like to paint it but I know once I do It is very diffucult to go back. I have also considered having my Husband build a surround / cover for it. Has anyone done this or painted theirs? If so I would love to see pictures. Any thoughts on how to build a surround?
