Hi,

We have a gas, air-forced furnace which is periodically shaking the whole house and the force feels like a car hits the side of the house. Seems like it's right after it kicks on, but before blower kicks on. It was happening once a month, but recently it's happening 2-3 times a day.

I called the gas company, who came out and of course the furnace is on it's best behavior - firing up regularly. The repair man cleaned the burners and checked the gas pressure but 4 hours later and there goes the big bang!

He suggested that I get the valve changed but I'm not really sure if that will fix it . any ideas?

thanks,
Worried and frustrated
