All of a sudden, the whole upstairs is creaking when someone walks. Every step makes a noise. There's a loft area, bathroom and bedroom. It was never like this before. The house was built in 1983. It is carpeted. Is there anything I can do? It drives me nuts! You can't hear it creaking when your upstairs, but when someone's upstairs and I'm on the main floor-very noisy. Is it just the house settling? Do I have to put up with this from now on? Any suggestions? Thank You! J De Cloux.....
