We were taking down an inside wall in the church basement. On one side of the wall is our dining hall, on the other side are two bathrooms. As we took the wall down a bucnh of dust was released and the three of us working immediately felt stinging in our eyes, nose and throat. We went outside and after 10 minutes or so the sensation went away. We sealed the hole in the wall, but noted much of the wood had disintigrated and there was blackish mold in several spots. What do you think the caustic dust represents and what should we do?
