I had a real mole problem. I also had a lg. party and everyone brought a "bottle" which they left. I do not drink and had a teenager in the house so I just took the booze to the backyard and poured it down the holes and covered them with dirt. They disappeared for many years. If you have spongy spots, you may just pour it on the ground. Good luck -- it works.
