I had someone make a mantel for me, and granted it looked nice at first, but then after a while, it started to slant down away from the brick wall. I can't put anything on it beacuse it probably will slide off. It is just a shelf and no side legs or whatever you call them. I would like to redo the whole thing with the side legs to support the mantel and the mantel itself.
