I am remodeling my basement and have removed the (ancient) window unit that must have been mounted pre-1950. surprisingly the thing actually blew COLD air last spring when we added central air to the house. I had planned on taking it to the freon recycler then to the approp place to dispose of these type items but looking atr it I feel guilty. It looks nearly new and must have some value and use to someone. If you have any ideas I'd feel better seeing it end up with a purpose other then taking up space at the dump. Thanks for any ideas,
